Our highly skilled therapists provide a number of support and therapeutic groups both in-person and online. Groups are offered year-round and are typically time-limited (fixed number of group sessions).

ACCEPTANCE AND COMMITMENT GROUP

Come learn tools in this 6-session group to help manage depression and anxiety, and connect with
others. This is a safe space to learn how to practice acceptance and learn to take committed action towards living a life aligned with personal values.

Often, as Black women, we are told that we are “being dramatic, too sensitive or we are wrong for feeling the way we feel”, because of this, we tend to stuff our feelings away. we tell ourselves we don’t have time to feel the emotions at the moment. Join us for an 8-week educational group to learn about emotions, how to communicate them as well as ways to build your personal awareness.
