My "Why"

"I chose mental health because as a teen and young adult there were times that I needed a safe person to provide a listening non judgmental space for me to process and learn tools to handle things differently. As I got older I knew that being that person for someone could be so significant to their over all well being. As I have focused more on my education and career goals I knew that I wanted to be that person for people no matter what stage they are in their life."

Focus Population

Individuals, couples, and families dealing with complex trauma, shame, guilt, grief and loss, identity work, neurodiversity, and changes/transitions in life.

My "Why"

"I chose mental health because there is an invisible stigma around it that affects everyone. When I was a teen, I struggled with my mental health and no one else could see that struggle. Even when I spoke up, no one was able to hold space for it. Taking that step to ask for help is so hard, even more so when asking for help isn’t the culturally acceptable thing to do in the systems you are a part of. When you have one person you can trust to create a safe space for you to feel seen, heard, and understood, being the cycle breaker becomes so much easier. I hope to co-create this safe space together so you can start breaking patterns, unlearn habits that keep you stuck in a loop, and heal the parts of you that are needing that extra love, care, and support."

Focus Population

Individuals and couples who are dealing with the impact of Relational Conflict, Trauma, Addiction, Anxiety, and Depression

My "Why"

"I chose mental health because throughout my childhood I was made aware of how important it is to our livelihood. Throughout my experience, I have seen how the lack of community and support affects our mental health. This is why I am so passionate about offering that support to others by providing a nonjudgmental and safe space for people to understand themselves and begin their healing journey. I aim to empower others in discovering their authentic selves and offer tools and skills to express and communicate that self in their relationships. Understanding ourselves better is one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves and I feel honored to be in a field where I get to be a part of that."
